| A dynamic and engaging speaker, Marilyn Cortell is a full-time Associate Professor at New York City College of Technology Department of Dental Hygiene. Widely recognized for her expertise in oral health and its relation to total health and Documentation and Recordkeeping, she has lectured both nationally and internationally, before audiences from health-care professionals to the general public. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, Consultant Member to the North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners, and on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Access and RDH, professional publications. She authored articles in journals, contributed to three prominent dental related textbooks, and recently devised quick documentation aids now in use by dental hygienists' across the United States. All this makes her sought after as an author and speaker in her field. Marilyn has been a member of the National Speakers Association since 1998. |
